General strategy advice for your first runs. Because the game is a roguelite, some runs will simply go sideways — that's the point. These tips raise your average finish.

Early Run (First Shops)

• Fill your board early — even cheap units deal damage and trigger traits.
• Buy units that share traits from the start; you can always pivot later.
• Spend, don't hoard: in most roguelites gold past a safe floor is dead value.

Mid Run (Bosses & Boons)

• Respect boss fights: save your strongest team state before spending everything on a meme unit.
• Boons are your power spikes — read them and match them to your trait plan.
• Evolve your carry early so it snowballs through mid-run fights.

Late Run (Win Conditions)

• Commit: late runs reward focused teams over dabbling in five different traits.
• Positioning matters in auto-battlers — front-line tanks, back-line damage.
• Learn from "bad decisions": the game literally lists them as a feature. The fun is in the chaos.
